The Faculty of Liberal Studies offers programmes that focus on the social sciences, humanities, languages, and community development. The programmes offered are designed to prepare students for careers in social work, community development, communication, and related fields.

Programmes

Social Work and Community Development

This programme covers the principles and practices of social work and community development. Students learn about social issues, community organizing, and social policy.

Bible and Missions

This programme focuses on the study of the Bible and the principles of Christian missions. Students learn about theology, evangelism, and cross-cultural ministry.

Community Health

This programme provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to promote health and prevent disease in communities. Students learn about public health principles, health education, and community health interventions.

Journalism and Mass Media Studies

This programme covers the principles and practices of journalism and mass communication. Students learn about news writing, reporting, editing, and media production.

Languages (Department of Languages)

The Department of Languages builds practical competence in a foreign language for study, work and service abroad. The College has a particular strength in German language instruction, and learners develop the listening, speaking, reading and writing skills needed for international employment, further study and cross-cultural ministry.
